Our Approach
At the Franklin Endoscopy Center, we take a comprehensive approach in providing our services through a combination of expert medical skills and personalized patient care. Our physicians are board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. They bring decades of professional health care experience to our center.
We understand that people don’t often have diagnostic procedures, so we take the time to guide you through each step of the process. From completion of your paperwork to follow-up contact after your discharge, we pride ourselves in giving you the personal attention you need for your procedure.
Our Center
Throughout its 1,200 square feet, the Franklin Endoscopy Center is designed with both patients and medical staff in mind. The facility provides patients with privacy and comfort in one of two pre-op individual rooms or one of four curtained beds to prepare for the examination. Family members are encouraged to wait in the center’s spacious reception area. Following the procedure, patients are returned to their pre-op area to quietly recover. When ready, the family is called back to speak with doctor regarding the procedure and discharge instructions.
Our doctors use the most up-to-date GI endoscopic technology and equipment. We are fully staffed with experienced nurses, technicians and assistants. We have two state-of-the-art procedure rooms which allow your doctor to perform the exam in the most comfortable and efficient manner. Throughout the process, one of our nursing staff carefully monitors each patient to ensure their safety and medical needs.
All patients receive specific discharge instructions before they leave. And as part of our approach to comprehensive care, our staff follows up with patients a few days after their discharge to check on their condition and to see if they need assistance in any way.
The Franklin Endoscopy Center is accredited by the Joint Commission, the highest industry standard for excellence. The facility is fully licensed and certified with the Tennessee Department of Health. The center is open Monday through Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The building offers plenty of free, convenient parking. The Franklin Endoscopy Center is a non-smoking facility.
The Franklin Endoscopy Center is a joint venture with Nashville-based HealthMark Partners, Inc. HealthMark Partners works with physicians and hospitals that represent the best surgeons in the community. Because the company’s facilities are focused on a limited scope of services, doctors are able to provide their patients with the highest quality of care in the most efficient setting available.
